I get it…
The rabbit-holing carried into a traditional family photography session. How do we coordinate our outfits without looking like we coordinated our outfits? What awkward poses will portraiture demand of us? Will my kiddos cooperate? Will they have a meltdown? Can the photographer handle that with care? Can the photographer coax a genuine smile from them? They’re all valid questions, yet none of them apply. Not here.
Using an approach akin to photojournalism, I photograph family life as it organically unfolds throughout the course of a session — so you can put your mind at ease. My family sessions demand nothing of you and asks only for authenticity. For laughter. For tears. For whatever arises during our time together. Will messy moments surface during the session? Possibly. But so will the beauty of your shared, sacred lives!
